Quality

KauPharma’s manufacturing operations are built on a strong pharmaceutical quality foundation.

The pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and operations originally used by Petonen Pharmacy were inspected by the Finnish Medicines Agency (Fimea) and confirmed to meet the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for pharmaceutical contract manufacturing.

Today, KauPharma continues food supplement manufacturing in these same facilities while maintaining the same quality-focused operating principles developed through years of pharmaceutical production.

In addition, the facility has been approved by the Finnish Food Authority for the manufacture of food supplements in accordance with Finnish and EU food legislation.
